LEED Commissioning

Overview

LEED - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design , a sustainability protocol established by the United State Green Building Council (USGBC) is one of the 'Gold' standards for prioritizing efficiency in the construction process. The protocol uses a credit-based system, and rewards facilities for pursing innovative and aggressive efficiency measures.

Every project going for LEED certification is required to have a commissioning component. In addition, there are multiple paths available for enhanced commissioning, all of which provide extreme value to the project while also helping the project secure a higher certification level.

Welsh has commissioned over 250 LEED projects. Adding an experienced member to your project team can be the key to both unlocking the designed sustainability of your building and making the certification process as smooth as possible.

There are resources available for you both to learn about commissioning and to see what it can do for your new facility. Give our team a call at 253.856.3322 or info@wcxg.com to learn more.
