WCG Retro-Commissioning Process

Review all existing documentation to evaluate original design intent and performance criteria for selected systems.
Assist owner in developing desired system maintenance and performance criteria for selected systems.
Develop specific installation verification checklists for selected systems.
Perform installation verification and document all noted discrepancies.
Verify that all critical physical issues have been resolved.
Verify systems readiness for functional performance testing. Report those systems not ready for functional performance testing.
Develop specific functional performance testing procedures for selected systems.
Perform functional tests on selected systems and document all noted functional discrepancies.
Coordinate and assist with the correction of system issues.
Perform re-testing of systems that initially failed to meet desired functional test criteria and were corrected.
Report all systems and/or equipment that were unable to meet desired functional test criteria and make recommendations to the owner regarding resolution of deficiencies.
Prepare and submit final commissioning report.
Perform any necessary seasonal testing and attach addendum to final report.
