Commissioning Project Manager
Welsh Commissioning Group, Inc. has an opening for a Building Commissioning Professional. WCG currently has active commissioning projects in Washington, Oregon, California, Utah and Alaska. We are seeking individuals to staff our Auburn office and would also be interested in an individual to staff a Portland office. We are seeking a Commissioning Project Manager.
WCG is a full service commissioning provider from design concept to post occupancy review. Job duties include commissioning specification development, design review, verifying contractor startup, verifying proper system installation, developing and executing functional performance tests, tracking issues to resolution, working with the Owner to properly close out the construction project, conducting a post occupancy review and providing a final report.
- Commissioning Project Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a building science related field (engineering, construction management, etc.) and at least 5 years of building design/construction or facilities management related experience with an emphasis on HVAC. PE is desirable. Extensive experience and demonstrated commissioning related skills will be considered in lieu of Bachelors degree.
- Must have proven project management skills and ability to work independently.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel.
