Lakewood Elementary School – Lakewood S.D., North Lakewood, WA

Project Description: This project consisted of the demolition and replacement of an existing four-classroom building, and modernization of an existing library, computer classroom, staff work area, lounge and restrooms.
WCG Scope: Full commissioning of all HVAC related equipment including nine water-to-air heat pumps tied to the existing campus heating water system, four exhaust fans, gas-fired boiler and circulating pump for an adjacent building, and two heating water circulating pumps in the existing campus heating water system.

Graham-Kapowsin High School – Bethel S.D., Spanaway, WA

Project Description: New construction of 161,000 square feet high school.
WCG Scope: Full commissioning of all HVAC related systems, including two large chillers and two large boilers. Air and water distribution, fan coil units, Energy Management system for over 200 pieces of equipment.

Capital High School – Olympia SD, Olympia, WA

Project Description: New 255,000 square feet addition and modernization of existing high school.
WCG Scope: Full commissioning of over 300 separate pieces of equipment including constant volume, gas-fired air handlers with economizers and some DX cooling, exhaust fans, domestic hot water, kitchen equipment, sump pumps, compressed air system, lighting controls, irrigation controls, dust collector, air cleaners, fume hoods and Alerton control system.

Mountain View High School – Auburn S.D., Auburn, WA

Project Description: New 195,000 Square Foot school including science labs, a field house and greenhouse, a full service kitchen and 400-seat theater.
WCG Scope: Full commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC and controls, pumps, boilers, air handling units, hot water heating and chilled water piping systems, fans, and indoor air quality monitoring and fire dampers. Supervised and checked TAB of air and hydronic systems.

Interlake High School – Bellevue S.D., Bellevue, WA

Project Description: Modification and addition of an 182,000 square foot high school. The project consisted of the new construction of a classroom wing, theater, commons, and office space. The project also contained the modernization of the mechanical systems and controls in a large gymnasium and Industrial technologies building.
WCG Scope: Full mechanical commissioning conducted on all HVAC systems included air cooled chillers, boilers, pumps, large rooftop air handlers, fume hoods, VAV systems, theater smoke evacuation system and Alerton control system

Bellevue International School – Bellevue S.D., Bellevue, WA

Project Description: This project consisted of the reconfiguration and modernization of the existing 78,000 SF facility to include new technology infrastructure, seismic and fire/life/safety upgrades. Work also included a new roof overbuild and re-roofing of the entire facility. A new 250 seat performing arts center was also constructed along with a new band room and adjacent theater support facilities.

Olympia High School – Olympia S.D., Olympia, WA

Project Description: Complete remodel and reconstruction of 234,000 square foot comprehensive high school with all new systems.

West Seattle High School – Seattle S.D., Seattle, WA

Project Description: Total renovation of original structure with 123,000 square foot addition for a total of 225,000 square feet of classrooms, labs, technical and music facilities.
WCG Scope: Commissioning/test-engineering including site inspection, review and approval of procedures during start-up, and functional testing of all commissioned systems. Commissioning included mechanical, compressed air, plumbing, packaged HVAC, energy monitoring and controls, fuel oil, low voltage, and electrical systems.

Central Valley and University High Schools – Central Valley S.D., Greenacres, WA

Project Description: New construction of two 190,000 square foot multi-story comprehensive high schools.
WCG Scope: Commissioning included mechanical and electrical systems, large rooftop VAV air handlers, dual-duct VAV systems, exhaust fans, domestic water system, and split A/C units. Electrical systems included power distribution, lighting control, fire alarm, and generator.

Riverside High & Chattaroy Elementary – Riverside S.D., Chattaroy, WA

Project Description: Retro-commissioning of approximately 50,000 square feet of classroom facilities.

Renton High School – Renton S.D., Renton, WA

Project Description: Total modernization with all new systems of 308,000 square foot comprehensive high school and performing arts center.
WCG Scope: Full commissioning of mechanical system including large air handlers with zone heating, boilers, hydronic system, exhaust fans, unit heaters, and water heaters. Commissioning also included Johnson control system using LonWorks as well as electrical systems.

Lake Oswego and Lakeridge High Schools – Lake Oswego S.D., Lake Oswego, OR

Project Description: New construction of two large high schools.
WCG Scope: Writing of commissioning specifications for integration into main contract documents as well as providing review comments on major issues relative to HVAC and controls. Systems included in specifications included HVAC, lighting controls, security, sound, fire safety, plumbing, voice and data, irrigation, power systems, and theater equipment.

Aloha High School – Beaverton S.D., Beaverton, OR

Project Description: Remodel of kitchen & commons, plus an 18 classroom addition. New waterline and restroom improvements.
WCG Scope: The HVAC system consists primarily of VAV terminal units with hot water reheat. Air is supplied to the terminal units by air handling units with DX cooling. Other air handling units with hot water coils are dedicated to large-volume areas. Packaged gas fired boilers provide heating for air handlers and terminal units. System includes other miscellaneous equipment including exhaust fans, split system a/c units and fume hoods. The building also includes an emergency diesel generator and a lighting control system.

Aloha Huber Park Elementary School – Beaverton S.D., Beaverton, OR

Project Description: New construction of a 2-story, 106K square foot, K-8 educational facility.
WCG Scope: Design review, develop commissioning specifications, develop and execute the commissioning plan including all verification and testing, verify TAB, verify training and review O&M manuals. Beaverton High School – Beaverton S.D., Beaverton, OR

Project Description: Construction of new cafeteria, and renovation of old cafeteria into classrooms.
WCG Scope: Commissioning was performed on 7 single zone roof top air handling units and associated controls. Equipment installation verification and functional performance testing will be performed on commissioned equipment. Test and balance was verified by a 10% back-check. 7 new roof top units with DX cooling and gas fired heating coils. The existing Johnson control system was extended to include the new roof top units.
