New Science Building – Seattle Pacific University, Seattle, WA

Project Description: Commissioning of 70,000 square foot facility consisting of classrooms, a greenhouse, teaching laboratories, a lecture hall, and offices. Building designed to meet LEED “Silver” requirements.
WCG Scope: Review of specification sections, commissioning of mechanical systems including fume hoods and cabinets, laboratory equipment, controlled environment rooms, plumbing, deionized water system, fuel oil system, lab compressed air system, lab vacuum system, hot water heating system, greenhouse hydronic piping, air, and environmental control systems, chilled water system, air handling equipment, laboratory airflow control system and DDC Control System. CA was responsible for ensuring compliance with LEED-related commissioning requirements. Also responsible for coordination of owner’s employees in equipment start-up.

Health Sciences Building - University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT

Project Description: New construction of a 5-story, 159,000 square foot, classroom building including wet lab space. There is a four story atrium in the entry to the building and one level of parking underneath. The design includes a high level of information technology. Project achieved LEED Certification.
WCG Scope: Commissioning Authority services including oversight of contractor start-up/testing, installation verification, functional testing, trend log review, TAB review, project closeout and post occupancy review. Mechanical Systems Commissioned: high temperature system, heating/chilled water system, large rooftop air handlers, VAV terminal units, building control system and domestic water heating. Electrical Systems Commissioned: power distribution, lighting controls, generator systems and life safety (fire alarm and smoke evacuation systems). Other Systems: Elevator

University of Puget Sound Wyatt Hall, Tacoma, WA

Project Description: New construction, 46,400 square foot, three level academic building.
WCG Scope: Full mechanical commissioning on large air handler, hydronic heating system, boilers, fin tube heaters, zone heating coils, exhaust fans, smoke evacuation and Johnson Controls system. Electrical systems including power distribution, communications and fire alarm. Fire sprinkler system.

Jones Hall - University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA

Project Description: Complete renovation of four-story academic and administration building including complete replacement of mechanical system.
WCG Scope: Mechanical and HVAC commissioning on large rooftop air handlers, duct heating coils, fin tube radiators, steam convector, hydronic system and Johnson Control System.

Collins Library - University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA

Project Description: Major remodel including modifications to mechanical system, 38,500 square foot, four level library building.
WCG Scope: Full mechanical commissioning on large air handlers, hydronic heating system, steam hot water converter, small chiller, chilled water system, cooling tower, fan coils, zone heating coils, exhaust fans and pneumatic controls.

McIntyre Hall - University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA

Project Description: Complete remodel including all new mechanical and electrical systems, 38,500 square foot, four level academic building.
WCG Scope: Full mechanical commissioning on large air handlers, hydronic heating system, steam hot water converter, small chiller, chilled water system, cooling tower, fan coils, zone heating coils, exhaust fans and Johnson Controls system. Also fire alarm and suppression systems.

Project Description: New construction, 29,000 square foot student center facility.
WCG Scope: Whole building commissioning on hydronic heat pumps, cooling tower, boiler, TAB, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, lighting controls, fire alarm system, masonry, roofs and hardware.
